SummaryAs the
indices and prices for December is ready, the figures for the year 2002 is also
presented in this publication. The prices
for Maintenance and repair of plants have increased with 5,9 % between 2001 and
2002. Input price index has increased with 2,1 % during the same period.
Otherwise, the highest increase is for Energy and lubricants. Fertilizers and
soil improvers is the single post with the highest decrease, 5,7 %. Output
price index has decreased with 3,1 % between 2001 and 2002. This can
mainly be explained by the prices for pigs, cereals and potatoes which have
decreased compared with 2001. Price index
for the Food Industry, food from price regulated agricultural products (PPI-J),
and Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated agricultural products
(KPI-J), have increased with 2,3 % and 1,4 % between December 2001
and December 2002. The increase of KPI-J is 0,9 percent unit lower than the
general development of consumer prices, calculated with KPI (Consumer Price
Index). Between
October 2001 and October 2002 the Swedish prices for means of production in
average have increased with 1,3 %. The output prices during the same period
have decreased with 3,6 % in Sweden and with 1,3 % in EU-15. List of tables 1. Price Indices in the Food Sector. 4.
