Summary

Input Price Index has increased with 1,3 % between May 2002 and May 2003. Animal feedingstuffs is the only single post which have decreased during the period (-5,7 %), all other posts have increased. Maintenance and repair of buildings is the single post with the highest increase (6,5 %) during the period.

Output Price Index has decreased with 3,1 % between May 2002 and May 2003. This can mainly be explained by the prices for pigs, cereals and potatoes which have decreased.

Price index for the Food Industry, food from price regulated agricultural products (PPI-J), and Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated agricultural products (KPI-J), have increased with 1,1 % and 0,1 % between May 2002 and May 2003. The increase of KPI-J is 1,8 percent unit lower than the general development of consumer prices, calculated with CPI (Consumer Price Index).
