Summary
Input Price
Index has increased with 2,5 % between November 2002 and November 2003.
Animal feedingstuffs is the only single post which has decreased during the
period (-3,4 %), all other posts have increased. Fertilizers, soil improvers is the single post with the highest
increase (10,8 %) during the period. Output
Price Index has decreased with 1,5 % between November 2002 and November
2003. This can mainly be explained by the prices for oats, pigs, cattle and poultry
which have decreased. Price index
for the Food Industry, food from price regulated agricultural products (PPI-J),
and Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated agricultural products
(KPI-J), have increased with 1,1 % and 1,5 % between November 2002
and November 2003. The increase of KPI-J is almost equal to the general
development of consumer prices, calculated with CPI (Consumer Price Index). Between
October 2002 and October 2003 the Swedish prices for means of production in
average have increased with 1,4 %. In EU-15 the corresponding index
increased with 2,4 %. The output prices during the same period have decreased
with 1,0 % in Sweden and increased with 7,1 % in EU-15. List of tables
