Summary
Increased slaughterings of cattle in January-May 2009Slaughterings
of cattle increased with 10.2 % during January-May 2009 compared to the same
period in 2008 and slaughterings of pigs decreased with 5.0 % during
the same period. The quantity of
milk delevered to dairies increased with 0.9 % and production of drinking milk
decreased with 3.9 % during January-May 2009. Production of butter increased
with 13.1 % and production of cheese decreased with 3.9 % during the same
