Increased slaughterings of pigs in January - November 2004

The slaughterings of pigs amounted to 270 200 metric tons in January -November 2004, an increase by 1,4 % compared to the same period 2003. The slaughterings of cattle was unchanged during the same period.

The quantity of milk delivered to dairies in January - November 2004 increased by 0,9 % compared to previous year.

The quantity of eggs delivered to wholesalers increased by 11,4 % during the same period.
