Decreased production of cattle in January - October 2005

Slaughterings of cattle decreased with 3,5 % and slaughterings of pigs decreased with 6 % during January - October 2005 compared to the same period 2004. Slaughterings of chickens increased with 8,5 % during January - September 2005 compared with the same period previous year.

The quantity of milk delivered to dairies decreased with 2 % during January - October 2005 compared with the same period 2004.

The quantity of eggs delivered to wholesalers decreased with 1,1 % during the same period.
