Increased slaughterings in January 2006

Slaughterings of cattle increased with 10,4 % and slaughterings of pigs in-creased with 0,5 % between January 2005 and January 2006.

The quantity of milk delivered to dairies decreased with 1,1 % and production of drinking milk with 3,5 % compared with the year before. Production of cheese increased with 5,0 % and production of cream with 4,4 %. Production of butter decreased with 13,8 % compared with the year before.
