Decreased slaughterings of pigs in January - July 2006

Slaughterings of pigs decreased with 3,2 % and slaughterings of cattle increased with 0,7 % during January - July 2006 compared to the same period in 2005.

Slaughterings of chickens decreased with 0,2 % during January - June 2006 compared with the same period.

The quantity of milk delivered to dairies decreased with 1,2 % and production of drinking milk with 4,1 % compared with the year before. Production of butter decreased with 7,7 % and production of cheese increased with 1,3 % compared with the year before.
