Increased slaughterings of cattle in February 2007

Slaughterings of cattle inreased with 9,5 % and slaughterings of pigs with 3,2 % during January - February 2007 compared to the same period in 2006.

The quantity of milk delivered to dairies decreased with 1,4 % and production of drinking milk was the same as in January - February 2006. Production of milk powder increased with 12,7 % and production of cream with 8,6 % compared with the year before.
