Summary
Increased slaughterings of pigs in January-April 2008Slaughterings
of pigs increased with 6.5 % during January-April 2008 compared to the same
period in 2007 and slaughterings of cattle decreased with 5.9 %
during the same period. The quantity of
milk delevered to dairies decreased with 5.1 % and production of drinking milk
with 1.6 % compared with the previous year. Production of cream increased with
2.6 % and production of butter decreased with 3.8 % compared with the same
