Decreased slaughterings of cattle in January-July 2010

Slaughterings of cattle decreased with 5.2 % during January-July 2010 compared to the same period in 2009 and slaughterings of pigs with 0.5 % during the same period.

The quantity of milk delivered to dairies decreased with 3.6 % and production of drinking milk increased with 0.4 % during January-July 2010 compared to the same period in 2009. Production of cream increased with 9.1 % and production of butter decreased with 24.7 % during the same period.
