Summary
Decreased slaughterings of pigs in January-August 2009Slaughterings
of pigs decreased with 3.5 % during January-August 2009 compared to the same
period in 2008 and slaughterings of cattle increased with 9.6 % during
the same period. The quantity of
milk delevered to dairies decreased with 0.2 % and production of drinking milk
with 2.5 % during January-August 2009. Production of cheese decreased with 6.6
% and production of butter increased with 17.0 % during the same period. List of tables
