Summary Animal products - Annual and monthly statistics –

slaughterings of cattle in January–May 2014 Slaughterings
of cattle increased by 3.4 % in January–May 2014 compared with January–May
2013 and slaughterings of pigs decreased by 1.0 % during the same period. The quantity of milk delivered to
dairies increased by 2.6 % and production of drinking milk decreased by 9.9 %
in January–May 2014 compared with January–May 2013. Production of butter
decreased by 7.2 % and production of milk powder increased by 30.6 %
during the same period. Figure A shows delivered quantity of milk to dairies
month by month during the time period 2011–2014. Figure B and C illustrate monthly
slaughterings of cattle and pigs respectively during the same period of
