2,600,600 hectares, according to preliminary statistics. That is a decrease by 7,700
ha (-0.3 %) compared with 2012. The total area
of pasture and meadow is 440,100 hectares in 2013, according to preliminary statistics.
That is almost the same area as 2012. The area of cereals is decreasing
The total
area of cereals is 988,300 hectares in 2013, according to preliminary statistics.
That is a decrease by 12,000 hectares (-1 %) compared with 2012. The area of barley increases by 16,000 hectares
(+4 %) and the area of wheat decreases
by 37,400 (-10 %) compared with 2012. The area of oats
increases by 5,700 hectares (+3 %)
compared with 2012. The area of rape and
turnip rape is increasing
The area of
rape and turnip rape is 129,900 hectares in 2013, according to preliminary statistics.
That is an increase by 19,900 hectares (+18 %) compared with 2012. The area of grass and
green fodder is decreasing
The area of
grass and green fodder is 1,168,500 hectares in 2013, according to preliminary statistics.
