hectares (‑0.4 %) compared with 2013. The total area
of pasture and meadow is 434,700 hectares in 2014, according to preliminary statistics.
That is a decrease by 8,200 hectares (‑2 %). The area of cereals is increasing

area of cereals is 1,036,100 hectares in 2014, according to preliminary statistics.
That is an increase by 51,600 hectares (+5 %) compared with 2013. The area of wheat increases by 128,100 hectares (+39 %)
and the area of barley decreases by 57,100 (‑15 %) compared with
