Summary Summary
The production value is
about the same in 2008 as it were in 2007
The
production value decreased in 2005. The decrese can to a large extent be explained
by the single farm payment.. Between 2006 and 2007, the production value
increased with nearly 6 billions SEK, which to a large extent can be explained
by the increased prices for cereals and fodder plants. The production value in
2008 is about the same as in 2007. The value
of crop output in basic prices decreased by 10 % in 2008 compared to 2007. The
total harvest of cereals increased by 3 % in 2008 compared to 2007. At the same
time the area of cereals increased by 10 %. The total
harvest of rape and turnip rape were 17 % higher in 2008 compared to 2007. The
increase is mostly an effect of the more growing of autumn rape instead of the
growing of spring rape and turnip rape. The
production value in basic prices for animal output increased by 15 % in 2008
compared to 2007. The slaughter of cattle decreased slightly in 2008, while the
slaughter of pigs increased slightly. The prices for cattle increased by
13 % in 2008 compared to 2007, while the prices for pigs increased by
14 %. The production value in basic prices for cattle increased by 9 % in
2008 compared to 2007. The production value in basic prices for pigs increased
by 13 %. The production of milk is the same in 2008 as it was the last year.
The prices for milk increased by nearly 19 % in 2008. The
operating surplus increased by 4 % in 2008 compared to 2007. The total
intermediate consumption decreased by 2 % while the fixed capital consumption
and other subsidies on production increased by 4 % and 7 % respectively. List of tables
