and lower costs led to an increase in entrepreneurial income
The
production value in basic prices increased by about 1.2 billion SEK or 2 %
between 2013 and 2014. The value
of crop output in basic prices increased by 1.5 billion SEK or 6 % in 2014
compared with 2013. The main reason for this was an increase in the harvest of
cereals and forage plants. The
production value of animal output in basic prices increased by almost 1 % or 0.2
billion SEK in 2014 compared with 2013. The slaughter of cattle increased by
almost 5 % and the output prices increased by 4 %. The total production value
for cattle increased by almost 400 million SEK or 8 %. The slaughter of pigs
was almost at the same level as in 2013 but the output prices decreased. Due to
this the production value for pigs decreased by almost 400 million SEK or 9 %. The
production of milk increased by 2 % and the output prices increased by almost 3
%. The total production value for milk increased by 500 million SEK or 5 %. The value
of total intermediate consumption decreased by 0.2 % in 2014. The main part of
the decrease in total intermediate consumption was due to lower costs for seeds
and animal feed. Due to the
increase in the production value and lower costs, the factor income increased by
9 %. This also contributed to an increase in the entrepreneurial income by
almost 1.5 billion SEK or 28 % compared with 2013. List of tables
