Summary
Input Price
Index has increased with 4,7 % between October 2003 and October 2004. All
cost items in the Input Price Index have increased during the period. Energi
and lubricants is the single
cost item with the highest increase (13,1 %) during the period. A second
forecast, sent to Eurostat, of the Input Price Index for the year 2004 has been
calculated. This forecast shows that the index will increase with 3,7 % between
2003 and 2004. Output
Price Index has decreased with 4,8 % between October 2003 and October
2004. Cereals, potatoes and fruit are those products that have decreased most
during the period. Forage plants is one of the items which have the highest
increase during the period. Index for crop output has incerased with 7,7 %
and index for animal output has decreased with 3,0 %. The second forecast,
sent to Eurostat, of Output Price Index for 2004 shows an decrease of 2,3 %
between 2003 and 2004. Price index
for the Food Industry, food from price regulated agricultural products (PPI-J)
has decreased with 0,1 % and Consumer Price Index, food from price
regulated agricultural products (KPI-J), has decreased with 0,4 % between
October 2003 and October 2004. The development of KPI-J is 0,8 % lower
than the general development of consumer prices, calculated with CPI (Consumer Price
