Agricultural Input Price Index has increased by 0.9 per cent between April 2008 and April 2009. The prices for Plant protection products and pesticides have increased by 13.1 per cent and were thereby the prices with the greatest increase. For Materials there also were a rise in prices during the period. They increased by 9.6 per cent while Animal feedingstuffs decreased by 8.1 per cent.

Output Price Index has decreased by 10.6 per cent between April 2008 and April 2009. Cereals has decreased with 37.8 per cent since the same month last year and the prices on Milk with 20.5 per cent. Index for crop output has decreased by 12.4 per cent and index for animal output has decreased by 9.3 per cent between April 2008 and April 2009.

"Price Index for the Food Industry, food from price regulated agricultural products" (PPI-J) decreased by 1.0 per cent between April 2008 and April 2009. Flour, grain and crispbread decreased by 3.8 per cent, Beef by 6.8 per cent while Potatoes for consumtion increased by 6.0 per cent during the period.

 

"Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated agricultural products" (KPI-J) has increased by 2.3 per cent between April 2008 and April 2009. The prices for Potatoes have increased by 5.4 per cent, Cured and canned meat by 4.3 per cent and Other meat by 5.8 per cent. These three products accounts for the greatest increase. In the same period, Consumer Price Index decreased by 0.1 per cent.
