Price Indices and Prices in the Food Sector - Annual and Monthly Statistics - 2010:08

Agricultural Input Price Index has increased by 0.3 % between August 2009 and August 2010. Prices for Goods and services currently consumed in agriculture have increased by 0.3 % while Goods and services contributing to agricultural investments have increased by 0.1 %.

Plant protection products and pesticides have decreased by 17.1 % during this period. Fertilisers and soil improvers have also decreased (-5.7 %) while Energy and Maintenance- and Investments in buildings have had the largest increases.

Output Price Index has increased by 15.4 % between August 2009 and August 2010. The Index for Crop output have increased by 23.7 % while the index for Animal output has increased by 10.1 %. It is higher prices for Milk and Cattle that is the reason to the increase for Animal output.

"Price Index for the Food Industry, food from price regulated agricultural products" (PPI-J) increased by 0.3 % between August 2009 and August 2010. Crop products have decreased by 0.9 % while Animal products have increased by 0.9 %.

 

"Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated agricultural products" (CPI-J) has increased by 0.4 % between August 2009 and August 2010. Total Consumer Price Index (CPI) has increased by 0.9 % between August 2009 and August 2010.
