in the Food Sector – Annual and Monthly Statistics – 2013:03

Input Price Index has increased by 2.4 % between March 2012 and March 2013.
Prices for Goods and services currently consumed in agriculture have increased
by 2.2 % and prices for Goods and services contributing to agricultural
investments have increased by 3.3 %. The highest increase was found in prices
for Animal feeding stuffs (+15.3 %) followed by Materials (+4.3 %). Output
Price Index has increased by 2.8 % between March 2012 and March 2013. The
Index for Crop output has increased by 3.9 % and the index for Animal output has
increased by 2.0 %. Higher prices for Potatoes (+49.8 %) and Cereals (+5.8 %) is
the main reason for the increase for crops. In Animal output milk, for example,
has increased by 1.3 % while Eggs has decreased by 4.5 %. “Price Index for the
Food Industry, food from price regulated
agricultural products” (PPI-J) increased by 3.4 % between March 2012 and
March 2013. Crop products has increased by 2.7 % and
Animal products have increased by 3.7 %. “Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated agricultural products” (CPI-J)
has increased by 2.1 % between March 2012 and March 2013. Total Consumer Price
Index (CPI) is at the same level as last March. List of tables
