Indices and Prices in the Food Sector – Annual and Monthly Statistics – 2017:07

“Hela publikationen (PDF)”. Input index Agricultural Input Price Index increased by 3.0 % between July 2016 and July
2017. Prices for Goods and services currently consumed in agriculture increased
by 3.1 % and prices for Goods and services contributing to agricultural
investments increased by 2.6 %. Energy and lubricants (+7.2 %) had the largest
price increase in the input price index. Seeds (-2.8 %) were the only product
group where prices decreased during the period. According to yearly figures for
2016, Input index decreased by -1.3 % compared to 2015. Output index Agricultural Output Price Index increased by 10.5 % between July
2016 and July 2017. Index for Animal output increased by 11.2 % and Crop
output increased by 9.6 %. The highest increase was found in prices for
Animal products (+28.3 %) followed by Forage plants (+27.0 %) and Fruits
and vegetables (+9.3 %). Flowers and nursery plants (‑15.6 %)
were the product group that decreased the most during the period. According to
yearly figures for 2016, Output index increased by 1.7 % compared to 2015. Index later in the
food chain “Price Index for the Food Industry, food from price
regulated agricultural products” increased by 3.9 % between July
2016 and July 2017. Crop products increased by 5.4 %
and Animal products increased by 3.0 %. According to yearly figures
for 2016, “Price Index for the Food Industry, food
from price regulated agricultural products”, increased by 2.1% compared
to 2015. “Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated
agricultural products” increased by 2.3 % between July 2016 and July 2017. Total Consumer
Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.2 % during the same period. According to
yearly figures for 2016, “Consumer Price Index, food
from price regulated agricultural products”, increased by 0.4 % compared
