Price
indices and prices in the food sector – Annual and monthly statistics – 2018:09

“Hela publikationen (PDF)”. Agricultural input price index Agricultural input price index increased by 11.4 % between September 2017
and September 2018. Prices for Goods and services currently consumed in
agriculture increased by 13.3 %. Prices for Goods contributing to agricultural
investments increased by 5.2 %. Animal feedingstuffs (+23.7 %) had
the largest price increase in the Input price index. Plant protection products
and pesticides (-1.2 %) was the only product group where prices decreased
during the period. According to yearly figures for 2017, Input price index increased
by 2.6 % compared with 2016. Agricultural output price index Agricultural output price index increased by 16.7 % between September
2017 and September 2018. Index for Crop output increased by 45.0 %. The highest increase was
found in prices for Cereals (+80.4 %) followed by Forage plants (+49.3 %), Vegetables
(+43.5 %), Potatoes (+40.9 %), Industrial crops (+4.3 %), Fruits and berries (+4.1
%) and Horticultural products (+3.5 %). Index for Animal output decreased by 3.8 %. The product group Animals
decreased by 3.5 % between September 2017 and September 2018. The product group
Milk, eggs and other animal products decreased by 4.0 % during the same period.
According to yearly figures for 2017, Output price index increased by 7.4 % compared with 2016. Indices later in
the food chain Price
index for the food industry, food from price regulated agricultural products increased by 1.7 %
between September 2017 and September 2018. Crop
products increased by 4.1 % and Animal products increased by 0.8 %.

by 3.7 % compared with 2016. Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated
agricultural products increased by 2.3 % between September 2017 and September 2018. Crop products increased by 3.0 % and Animal products
increased by 2.0 %. Total Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.3 % between September 2017 and September 2018. According to yearly figures for 2017, Consumer
Price Index, food from price regulated agricultural products, increased
by 2.0 % compared with 2016. Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated
agricultural products, increased by 2.5 % between 2015 and 2017. Total
Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 2.8 % during the same period. Agricultural input
price index for the EU market Agricultural input price index for EU-28 increased by 2.2 % during the
fourth quarter of 2017 compared with the fourth quarter of 2016. During the same
period, prices increased, for a selection of countries, the most in Finland (+3.5
%) followed by Sweden (+3.0 %), Poland (+2.3 %), Germany (+2.2 %) and
Denmark (+2.2 %). According to yearly figures for 2017, Agricultural input price index for
EU-28 increased by 1.9 % compared with 2016. During the same period, prices
increased the most in Sweden (+2.5 %) followed by Poland (+2.3 %), Denmark (+1.9
%), Finland (+1.6 %) and Germany (+1.5 %). If we compare 2017 with 2010, Agricultural input price index for EU-28
increased by 10.1 %. Agricultural output
price index for the EU market Agricultural output price index for EU-28 increased by 3.5 % during the
fourth quarter of 2017 compared with the fourth quarter of 2016. During the same
period, prices increased, for a selection of countries, the most in Sweden (+7.8
%) followed by Poland (+6.8 %), Finland (+6.4 %) and Denmark (+1.4 %). Prices
in Germany decreased by 0.4 %. According to yearly figures for 2017, Agricultural output price index
for EU-28 increased by 6.5 % compared with 2016. During the same period, prices
increased the most in Poland (+8.8 %) followed by Denmark (+8.4 %), Germany (+8.2
%), Sweden (+7.1 %) and Finland (+2.6 %). If we compare 2017 with 2010, Agricultural input price index for EU-28 has
