Price
indices and prices in the food sector – Annual and monthly statistics – 2020:02

“Hela publikationen (PDF)”. Agricultural input price index Agricultural input price index decreased by 4.0 % between February 2019
and February 2020. Prices for Goods and services currently consumed in
agriculture decreased by 6.0 %. Prices for Goods contributing to agricultural
investments increased by 3.0 %. Animal feedingstuffs (-13.3 %) had
the largest price decrease in the Input price index. According to yearly
figures for 2019, Input price index increased by 3.0 % compared with 2018. Agricultural output price index Agricultural output price index decreased by 9.8 % between February
2019 and February 2020. Index for Crop output decreased by 20.8 %. The highest decrease was
found in prices for Vegetables (-33.3 %). Other product groups where prices
decreased were Forage plants (-32.6 %), Potatoes (-27.0 %) and Cereals (-21.8
%). Product groups where prices increased during the period were Fruits and
berries (+49.7 %), Industrial crops (+6.2 %) and Horticultural products (+2.5
%). Index for Animal output increased by 1.7 %. The product group Animals
increased by 4.2 %. The product group Milk, eggs and other animal products decreased
by 0.5 % during the same period. According to yearly figures for 2019, Output price
index decreased by 1.2 % compared with 2018. Indices later in
the food chain Price
index for the food industry, food from price regulated agricultural products increased by 1.5 %
between February 2019 and February 2020. Crop
products decreased by 1.5 % and Animal products increased by 3.0 %.

by 3.5 % compared with 2018. Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated
agricultural products increased by 1.3 % between February 2019 and February 2020. Crop products increased by 1.7 % and Animal products
increased by 1.2 %. Total Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1.0 % between February 2019 and February 2020. According to yearly figures for 2019, Consumer
Price Index, food from price regulated agricultural products, increased
by 2.8 % compared with 2018. Total Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 1.8
% during the same period. Consumer Price Index, food from price regulated
agricultural products, increased by 8.0 % between 2015 and 2019. Total
Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 6.7 % during the same period. Agricultural input price index for the EU market According to yearly figures for 2018, Agricultural input price index for
EU-28 increased by 3.8 % compared with 2017. During the same period,
Agricultural input price index increased the most in Sweden (+6.9 %) followed
by the United Kingdom (+6.3 %), Romania (+5.6 %) and Slovakia (+5.4 %). The
only countries where input price index decreased were Cyprus (-2.1 %) and Lithuania
(-0.5 %). Comparing the third quarter of 2019 with the third quarter of 2018, Agricultural input
price index increased by 0.8 % in EU-28. During the same period, Agricultural
input price index increased the most in Poland (+3.1 %) followed by Czechia (+2.9
%), Hungary (+2.7 %) and Slovenia (+2.4
%). The countries where input price index decreased the most were Lithuania (-3.4
%) and Sweden (-1.7 %). The United Kingdom will be considered a part of EU-28 for the remainder
of 2019. Agricultural output
price index for the EU market According to yearly figures for 2018, Agricultural output price index
for EU-28 increased by 1.0 % compared with 2017. During the same period,
Agricultural output price index increased the most in Sweden (+11.1 %) followed by Belgium
(+7.6 %), Romania (+6.0 %) and Latvia (+6.0 %). The countries where output
price index decreased the most were Denmark (-5.5 %) and Slovakia (‑5.4
%). Comparing the third quarter of 2019 with the third quarter of 2018, Agricultural output
price index increased by 1.0 % in EU-28. During the same period, Agricultural
output price index increased the most in Poland (+13.0 %) followed by Romania (+10.8 %), Denmark (+6.3
%), Slovenia (+6.1 %), Czechia (+5.9 %), Malta (+5.5 %) and Hungary (+5.5 %). The
countries where output price index decreased the most were Sweden (-14.8 %) and
Belgium (-8.1 %). The United Kingdom will be considered a part of EU-28 for the remainder
