contains standard yields for yield survey districts, counties, production
areas and the whole country referring to the 2014 cultivation season. The
standard yields are based on yield data from organic and non-organic farming according to the Swedish
crop yield survey and for data on yields of sugar beet from Nordic Sugar. Standard
yields are calculated every year for cereals, peas, potatoes, oilseed crops and
sugar beet. The standard yield is an estimate of the yield that can be expected
if the weather and other conditions that influence the crops are normal. For
temporary grasses there are no complete time series of yield data that can be
used as a basis for calculating standard yields. In its place trimmed ten year means are presented. Non-organic yields per hectare are calculated as
trimmed ten year means for cereals, dried pulses, oilseed crops and temporary
grasses. For grain maize and field beans, five year means are calculated. Two points
(..) in the tables mean that basic data (number of observations) is not
sufficient to calculate standard yields with acceptable accuracy or that the crop
is nonexistent in the area concerned. List of tables
