Trade in plants

The EU countries have common plant protection rules on import of plants and plant products from non-EU countries. We also have common rules on the trade within the EU.  In addition to the plant protection rules, other rules apply, for example rules regarding endangered species, marketing standards for fruit and vegetables and variety listing of seed.
