In 2016 there were 120 700 tonnes of eggs delivered to wholesalers from The Swedish Egg and Poultry Association. It is an increase by 14 % compared with 2015. The increase may be due to more eggs produced in Sweden and/or a larger percentage of all eggs produced in Sweden being delivered to wholesalers from The Swedish Egg and Poultry Association. It is estimated that The Swedish Egg and Poultry Association increased their market share from 83 % to 88 % between 2015 and 2016. Figure F shows eggs delivered to wholesalers since the year 2013.
