Background
The Farm
Economic Survey (JEU) is an annual book-keeping survey. The aim of the survey
is to illustrate the development of receipts and costs in agriculture. As a
member state of the EU Sweden is obliged to deliver data to the Farm Accountancy
Data Network (FADN). Annually a database containing data on 1000 farms is
delivered to DG AGRI at the EU Commission. The base of
the calculations is nominal result in agriculture at current costs. The current
cost for an asset is the replacement value reduced by depreciation. Results
The results
shown in the tables are based on Swedish typology as well as EU typology and
shows receipts and costs in agriculture for the year 2004. The tables indicate
that the results in milk production have decreased in all sizegroups and
regions. The results in pig production have increased. List of tables
